What Makes Us Different
Nature-Based Learning
Nature-based education. Mondays happen in the forest or on the beach with certified teachers; every other day weaves the outdoors into the rhythm of learning. The natural world is our classroom as much as any room with four walls.
Small, Mixed-Age Classes
Small classes, mixed ages, calm environments. We support every child as an individual — what lights them up, what they're working through, and what they need that day. This community supports children as they grow and encourages individual expression within the community.
Family-Built Program
Families don't just enroll here — they help build what the program is. Through the Aligned Learning Society, parent voices shape the values and standards the program is built on. We believe it takes a village, and we mean it.
Hands-On & Creative
Learning here is hands-on, creative, and alive. Stories, art, music, making, and performing — woven through every subject, every week. Students pursue projects genuinely their own, building skills that actually transfer — cooking, collaboration, survival skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and conflict resolution.
Performing Arts
Performance builds confidence, memory, collaboration, and joy. Students have the opportunity to learn dance, acting, and singing, and to perform in annual productions and concerts.
Open Inquiry
We guide children toward curiosity, not conclusions. Our program is non-denominational and committed to open inquiry — teaching kids to ask good questions, weigh ideas honestly, and trust their own minds. We leave the rest to families.
